About Megan

Author · Pastor · Speaker

Megan helps people encounter Jesus at the intersection of faith and everyday life.

She holds a Master’s in Applied Biblical Leadership from Western Seminary and has served in ministry for over 15 years across local church settings, nonprofit leadership, and theological formation.

Megan is the Program Officer for Illuminate, an accredited virtual cohort ministry through Providence Heights that invites women into long-term discipleship, theological formation, and deep relational community. Illuminate blends rigorous scholarship with real-time interaction in immersive, cohort-based environments where women are known by name, story, and circumstance.

She also serves as a teaching pastor at RealLife Church, where she regularly preaches and invests in her local church community.

To support her writing ministry, Megan founded CommonPlace, a nonprofit publishing house dedicated to resourcing the under-resourced with literature that meets the heart, imagination, and soul. Through CommonPlace, she creates books, workbooks, and resources that speak into the ordinary rhythms of life with theological depth and pastoral care. Her published works include Hope Against Hope, Consider the Ravens, and Blessed, which have been embraced by women, local churches, and women’s ministries across the nation seeking depth, honesty, and spiritual growth.

Megan’s voice is marked by compassion, clarity, and a theology that honors both heart and mind. She has spoken widely across churches, retreats, and conferences, inviting listeners into deeper faith, courageous honesty, and grace-filled transformation.

Beyond ministry…

Megan enjoys small town life in Lake Chelan, WA with her husband of nearly 20 years and the joy of raising their three energetic and creative children in a close-knit community. She loves Jesus, dahlias, sushi, and watching the same movies over and over.
